Being the second largest economy in the New York state and it proximity to the New York metropolitan area makes a plethora of jobs available in Rochester. Rochester Jobs are to be found in both the blue collar and white collar mediums. This area is home to a number of international businesses, including Fortune 1000 companies Eastman Kodak, Constellation Brands, and Paychex, as well as several national and regional companies which contribute significantly to available positions. Xerox too which was founded in Rochester in 1906 as the Haloid Company and still retains a significant position there and adding to the Rochester jobs.
